Catch a Wave

Love Wave Art is an visual art project I've been working on for 7 years. My work is strongly influenced by dreams, memories and reflections on mystical experiences of fairies and angels. My art practice is based in subconscious alchemy; where I allow faces and shapes to emerge on the page as I draw.

Why Symmetry?

Much of my work here uses symmetry. I love the way kaleidoscopes use symmetry to change the way I see the world. They have always felt like magic to me, which bring colours and shapes to life just by twisting a tube.

Patterns can change and morph but the overarching structure remains the same through symmetry. I love using paints to morph colours into each other. It's the process of transition and change which animates the work you will find here.
